Canine Therapist
Professor Arlo (“Arlo”) is a 1.5 year-old pup who was rescued from a small shelter, with the support of The Labrador Connection organization. Since his rescue, he has been bravely overcoming the challenges of his past, while embarking on a fulfilling journey as a therapy dog. Arlo has a gentle, mellow, nature, which underlies a natural talent for connecting with humans. He eagerly anticipates days in the office with his mom, Dr. Day, where he seems to intuitively know who may need some cuddles. He specializes in demonstrating deep breathing techniques during group sessions—though often while soundly sleeping—and leans into hugs as if they nourish his very soul.
