Jaimee received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelors of Arts in Cultural Studies and Masters of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University. She is a licensed professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor in the state of Missouri. She has previous experience working with adults and children struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma and body image concerns. Jaimee believes in the value of individual, group and family therapy to move a client into long term recovery. Jaimee utilizes a person centered approach and attachment theory framework. She is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and incorporates additional therapeutic modalities such as dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to best fit her client’s needs. Jaimee is currently pursuing additional training in somatic experiencing.
