Jilly (she/her/ella) received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Middlebury College in Vermont and her Master of Social Work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. She is a provisionally licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Missouri under the supervision of Laura Fonseca, LCSW. Jilly practices in both English and Spanish, as well as through interpreters, and has a passion in working with patients and their families to adapt care to meet preferences and needs that stem from each individual’s language and culture.

Jilly’s approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered therapy and attachment theory. Her therapeutic practice seeks to improve patients’ mind-body connection through experiential psychodynamic therapies like AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and other emotion-focused somatic work. She is trained in ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), and incorporates additional therapeutic modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to best fit her patients’ needs. Jilly is currently pursuing further training in AEDP and EFFT (Emotion-Focused Family Therapy).
