Leah is a provisionally licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Missouri. She received her Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University and her Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Sam Fox School of Art & Design at Washington University in St. Louis.
Prior to her work as a therapist, Leah worked around eating disorders as a direct care counselor starting in 2020. Leah uses a person-centered approach to therapy and employs a variety of other therapeutic modalities based on clients’ needs, including cognitive behavior therapy, attachment-based therapy, DBT, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy. She believes that positive change happens when people feel safe and accepted, as this provides the foundation to confront and work through difficulties.
