Skylar received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University. She received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University. Skylar is a provisional licensed therapist in the state if Missouri. She has experience working with eating disorders as a behavioral health associate for three years. Skylar interned at McCallum Place as a master’s student for a year before coming on as a therapist. During her internship she provided meal support, individual and group counseling for all levels of care at McCallum Place. Skylar utilizes person-centered approach and incorporates other therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
