Information Regarding Insurance at McCallum Place

McCallum Place is in network for many types of insurances and we are always working to add more insurance coverages. We have also had success with obtaining single case agreements (SCAs) with out-of-network companies. Contact us to find out what we can do with your insurance coverage.

For those patients who are out-of-network, some or all of the cost of treatment may still be covered by your insurance company. We will happily investigate your plan to determine to what extent you can utilize benefits.  Also, if you are out of network, McCallum Place will submit claims on your behalf to your insurance company so that you may receive reimbursement from your insurance company up to the limits of your insurance coverage.

We always attempt to pre-certify treatment with your insurance company. Almost all of our patients receive some level of reimbursement from their insurance companies, this varies widely by company and coverage type.

It is a good idea to consult your insurance company directly prior to admission to determine what level of insurance reimbursement you can expect. We also gladly do this!

TIP: We have found families that advocate for themselves with insurance companies have the best success in obtaining the coverage and length of stay they need.  Thus, we strongly recommend you get involved alongside us during this process. We, too, will do everything in our power to help you access your benefits to support your treatment and connect you with resources on how to advocate for treatment with your insurance provider.

Here are some providers we have worked with in the past:

  • BCBS
  • UBH
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • Humana
  • Mercy
  • MHNet
  • Health Alliance

Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time.

What is Included in the McCallum Place Per Diem Rates or Fees?

The treatment fee for residential and partial hospitalization programs include treatment planning, individual counseling two-three times per week, group therapies, meals, snacks, meal support, individual dietitian sessions one to three times per week, and outings.

Our fee for intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) includes two psychotherapy groups, one therapeutic meal, treatment planning, weight and vital signs monitoring, as well as weekly individual therapy and dietitian sessions.

*Per Diem rates do NOT include medications, lab work, individual psychiatrist visits, medical consultation(s), or visits to any other medical facilities; however, some of these services performed at McCallum Place may be submitted to your insurance carrier separately.

Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time.

As painful as it is to be here and do what they’re asking, I don’t think I’d be able to do it without the McCallum Place support. You don’t have to know how to fix it, just be willing to listen and try their suggestions.
